Ixcthu's Motivation

Loneliness is a funny thing. In a human heart it can begin as a fleeting pang; subconscious. It can spread narrow tendrils from below, breaking the narrow crust that separates the soil of the submerged mind from the atmosphere of the conscious, above. There, left untended and unplucked, it will flourish apace. Such is its potential for explosive growth that in a garden devoid of competitive species it will establish itself as the main feature, seize control of the ecosystem.

But what of the heart of a god ? How does loneliness root itself, feed, grow ? And whence the seed ?
